Our Howard products business was invited by Costco to be involved in what they call Roadshows, which means that they allocate a four pallet space in their stores for a Roadshow participant and any products sold go through Costco’s checkout. The idea of a Roadshow is that we have to be an attraction which will entertain their customers and provide an interesting range of products that are different to anything else on Costco’s shelves.

Costco stores are huge and their stocked items cover almost anything you can think of including electronics, clothing, books, furniture and fresh food. Costco prides itself on the high quality of the items they sell so Howard Products is a good fit for Costco and surprisingly Howard Products are the only furniture-care products in-store.

So far we’ve done Costco in Marsden Park and last week Costco at Crossroads which borders Liverpool. Our next store will be at Ringwood near Melbourne and after that back to NSW to Costco in Auburn, outside Sydney’s CBD.

Take a look at the size of the trolleys the customers push around and fill to the brim with big containers of everything.

It’s quite an experience if you’ve never been in one. Costco decides which of of our products they want us to show and sell and this time it was Orange Oil, Feed-N-Wax, Restor-A-Finish and our leather-care range. We’d love to include our Orange Tung Wood Oil but it was not selected for inclusion by Costco this time but you never know.
